I'm Amanda. I have been a Critical Care nurse for the past 2 years, and will soon begin my venture into Travel Nursing. I am also a world traveler, writer, and skincare enthusiast. Refusing to be led by fear, I started this blog to share my perspective as a woman of color. My purpose is to set an example for others to live their lives fearlessly and share their truths.

    I began blogging in 2019, although I had been writing privately for years before that. My purpose is to be a bit vulnerable with you all so I can better help you create the life of your dreams, emotionally and spiritually. I am currently building my primary platform on Instagram, @nurse.iggy. My purpose is to lead by example, and show women that we do not have to be led by fear or stay within the lines that society and patriarchy have drawn for us; that we can have an “everyday” job, and still feel fulfilled, beautiful, and inspired by our lives.
